The Mortgage Bankers Association of Savannah (MBAS) is a non-profit organization formed to promote a positive origination and lending environment for mortgage brokers and consumers. We are a trade association composed of mortgage lenders, brokers and affiliated industry associates. This Association is dedicated to the preservation and improvement of the mortgage banking correspondent system. The Board of Governors of this association encourages its members to use sound and ethical business practices in the making, marketing and servicing of mortgage loans. We promise to keep the members informed of changes in mortgage laws and pending legislation that affect the real estate and mortgage business.

Through communication, MBAS members are kept aware of what is happening within the industry. By defining and prescribing to a strict Code of Ethics & Standards of Practices,our members contribute to the professionalism of the mortgage industry.
